“Am I working too hard?” is a question I get a lot from people—and one I received from the host of a podcast I recently got invited to. My answer to that question is another set of questions: when you’re “working hard,” where does it come from and how does it feel on your body? Depending on how you answer, you’re either working on something you love—and are probably there by choice—or working for the wrong reasons.

In this episode, I explore working too much and what you can do when you’re working hard for the wrong reasons. I also describe how I once worked hard, crashed, and burned because I was running away from fear. I also share the power of slowing down and letting your intuition guide you to your next steps toward a more meaningful path.

“Slow down, take care of yourself, allow your intuition to show up, and check where you’re coming from. You’ll get further; you’ll have sustainable energy and motivation; and life will be a little bit more fun.” - Mark J. Silverman
